Frequency of massage is important. It is great to be able to receive massage once a week. You will notice a difference between once a week over once a month. Talk to your therapist about your goals. This will help determine how often you should be getting a massage. I usually recommend at least every two weeks.
Communication is the key. It is necessary to talk to your therapist. Keep your therapist informed of your Massage goals if they change. Also Let your therapist know if something hurts or feels too painful.
Between Massages, it is good to pay attention to your body. Every once in awhile take stock of activities that affect your body. Make stretching a habit, when possible.
